Likelihood of successful upgrade award LAX-SYD?
Just wondering what people's experiences have been when trying for upgrade awards LAX-SYD. Are the chances likely to be higher on, say, the day flight (QF8) rather than the evening flights (QF12/108)? What about QF176 via BNE or (potentially) SFO-SYD instead? I am hoping to use some points to upgrade a flight in October.
