My biggest import was 36 bottles when returning CDG-YYZ. 8 bottles in a small carry-on pack-sack + the remaining 24 in a large-size Coleman cooler, very tightly packed with cardboard inserts and lots of bubble paper. Cooler was then sealed with LOTS of duct tape. Checked the cooler and it came out in perfect shape at both YYZ and then domestic cnx to YQB.

Indeed, 60 bottles (750ml = 45 l) are allowed under Ontario regs, but checked baggage weight limits and the sheer physical ability to schlep the load around airports is a real constraint. Plus, the real risk of breakage despite best efforts at packing !!!!
