Air Canada allows AC Elite (*A Gold) to claim a companion short-haul Y fare ticket for 10,000 pts (code S0119)
They also have a promotion for short-haul Y fare redemptions during a specific period for 12,000 pts (code S0101)... not bad.
My favorite is YYZ-HKG for 50,000 pts.
