I was actually staying at the DT San Jose Saturday night / Sunday morning. I had an early morning flight. Given there was no way to change the time before going to bed, I set the alarm for 5 AM (PST) rather than the 6 AM (PDT) I wanted. Fortunately, I woke up sometime between 2 and 5 and noticed that the clock had advanced it stuff automatically. At this point I gave up, turned the alarm off and called down to the front desk for a wakeup call.

It turns out that a bunch of the FAs that were on the hotel shuttle bus with me weren't so lucky and were woken up an hour early by the clocks that are too smart for their own good.

If the clocks were going to automatically reset the time, the hotel should have at least put notes in the room like they do for window cleaning, etc.
