It seems that Mr Chicken needs to smarten up, or I do. Flight #842 comes from Sao Paulo, Brazil, an overnight flight arriving the next day at ORD.
When I signed in for the 4/4 flight, Mr Chicken thought I meant today, which turned out to be a delayed flight. To get the flight status of tomorrows flight to SFO, you have to use todays date of the Sao Paulo flight to ORD!! DUH!
Freaky! Then they need 2 hours to move seats and convert that 767 into a 757.
