Just wondering if you don't requalify for Platinum again do they knock you right back to nothing or do you get a "soft landing" to Gold?
Just curious - except I have really enjoyed being Platinum for the last 6 years.
I fell to Gold and noticed no difference at all except for the Platinum amenity
I don't know if that is still the procedure.I also received an offer at the time to buy Platinum for 50k or more MR points.I enjoyed my treatment and customer service more at Hyatt for far less stays so now I am a mere silver at MR
Don't miss much of anything the Marriott Rewards program had to offer to be truthful.Even Hilton gave me more value as a comped Gold.
Now I am a Diamond HH and I couldn't be much happier all things considered.
