I arrived at T9 JFK from Bermuda recently and the bags took 1.5hrs to come not---not kidding we got the carousel about 2.30pm (we arrived early at gate) and nothing started coming for our flight until 4pm after much complaint to the baggage office there until they said
1. They are coming right now then
2. There is a plane parked in the way then
3. still nothing, ok, let me call and see ---which of course was too little too late, they should have called earlier

Meanwhile LAX AA118 came out on our carousel after being switched from another corousel and being double listed on two carousels. And our flight was removed from the screen after about 3pm (only after 30minutes since we had gotten to the carousel)

So my experience has been bad, but is this expected of the new T9 at JFK or any new terminal AA has---i.e. DFW in the past few years?

I think there are still hidden issues for T9 bags at JFK.
