On the Shuttle once, I watched the FA instruct an obese woman to move from the exit row opposite me. She gave her a seat in the bulkhead (the flight was fairly empty). I know the FA was doing her job, but I certainly did NOT envy her. What a difficult and uncomfortable situation to be in.
