The REN is a very nice property and the club floor is very nice but, it is not exactly near the city.

Personally, I did not find it a problem to use the shuttle bus to head over to the airport and then use the subway to head downtown.

However, if you really want to do the tourist thing, I would suggest a downtown hotel.
