How do I find out if U class opens up?

I've got the KVS tool, but can't for the life of me figure out how to check U class availability?

I'm also looking to MFU a WT+ into CW from YYZ-LHR and back in a few weeks.

I noticed U had opened up for my outbound today so decided to chance it and called about 09:30 this morning. I simply said I had a booking I wanted to upgrade with miles and that I'd just seen U class open on the outbound leg. The guy put me on hold and said he wouldn't be long, and within about 3 minutes he came back and told me I'd need to pay a re-issue fee as my ticket was already issued (25 quid he said) and it would be 'another 12,500 miles' (so he clearly saw I'd half-MFUd already and had no issue with it). Within a minute of coming off the phone, I was in 64K on the outbound too

My miles came off during the day as a 25,000 redemption then a 12,500 'Redeposit' but the net result is all fine, and he said they'd charge my existing card number for the re-issue fee if I didn't mind (fine by me, it's the BA AmEx of course). The ticket re-issue from the first MFU went through OK (I saw the new number on CMT the other day), so I'm now just waiting for this 2nd re-issue (fingers crossed!) and then I'll be all set. Big thanks to BA and whichever agents helped me on these MFUs - I was worried (as I said) after threads on here that I'd have problems, but nothing at all was questioned ^

Only problem is that MMB now reports zero miles and TPs so I guess it sees a 'straight' redemption - not too worried, I'm sure I can get that retro-credited if needed
