This does seem to suggest that 4 rows have been indeed added...very interesting and disappointing. This of course is just pure speculation.
I know, it is strange. But when I first flew it during the inaugural flights I was in the row behind the first bulkhead which at the time was row 18 -- it is now maked 17.

Flying last week on my return I was in row 21 which according to the maps would be one row from the back of the first Y cabin. There was at least 3 rows, probably more behind me though.

My first flights on the 345 were very comfortable and this time not so much. This time one could not really use the tray table unless the persno in fron was not reclined. Something must have changed. Also, I remember the seats having an additional lumbar button in Y and this time there wasn't one. The EK website for Y shows the additional button in a photo as well...very strange.

There were definately more rows in the forward Y cabin this time -- way more than the seven they note on their Web site.
