True. However - most wifi spots check IP numbers so if you go in to a starbucks, go online with laptop, bring up VOIP phone and go online with that - it's a new IP number and you will get charged again.

If you have paid for a day's access on one of the gadgets when you use the other it will register as a new IP.

Hmmm... I know what I mean. Do you?
