I keep the EXP tags on both my laptop case and my carryon. It wards off the baggage nazi's. I've had a junior GA in Ottawa tell me the my bag will need to be checked and the GA glanced over and murmured "No, he's ok" to him. Complete look of puzzlement on the junior GA's face - priceless.
