You know, I do a YYZ-YEG next week. I'll get 1670x2, plus the COS because I'm on a pass. I'll get double miles too because of my SE choice. So I've got 6840 miles coming. Add in a portion of the flight pass cost at 1.5x for my Amex, say 750 points -- and I've got 7,500 miles coming for this one flight. I've got tons of those flights. I'll be hitting a million miles shortly.

Yesterday, I filled up at Esso and got, what, 13 miles?

I do something with Bell - I've abandoned them for all but local -- and I'll get 30 miles.

I know they are trying to turn the darn thing into an AirMiles, but man, 13 miles vs. 7,500? We're not even in the same universe...!
