Frontier is moving their Tucson service to mainline starting in August, and probably through Spring in 2007. Will this change United's options, most likely not as they don't have the equipment to add to Tucson. Tucson is also a MX base for Skywest.

There is also that one United flight a day between Tucson and Phoenix, currently UA233/UA234.
