Lightbulb Modeling Technology

I just read that "Miniatur Wunderland" in Hamburg, a HUGE(!) model railway exhibition are going to build an airport

Highlights: A large airport of roughly 60mē with all technical highlights right amidst the Alps Mountains. We will build two additional generous Alps sections. This first one of the two new Alps sections will comprise of an airport with Car-System (supply vehicles, firefighters, and the airplanes). The airport will most probably be the largest model airport. From Jumbo Jets to Cessnas more than 100 different planes will "take off".

However, take-off and landing the planes is not yet totally solved. Development started already in May 2004 and we work very hard to have some visible results for our guests...
I'm quite curious, how they are going to solve the problem of take off and landing in a model surrounding.
