What does it mean to be lifetime Silver as a MMer?

One of the benefits of being a MillionMiler is lifetime Silver status. Does it mean that you only need to fly another 25K to reach GM?

I guess the proper question is that: Does Delta "virtually deposit" 25K base miles, so that you get all the FO benefits:

- 4 800-MSU
- 15K additional miles to reach 40K and the first 2 NAMUs
- 5K more to reach 30K and an additonal 4 800-MSU.
- 25K more to become GM, and the regular GM benefits.

I am thinking that under SGB rules, lifetime FO only means priority boarding, and 25% milesage bonus and nothing else. Basically you start with 0 miles for all the other perks.
