Going to Osaka and Tokyo for business next week. I know Tokyo pretty well, but have never been to Osaka. Any recommendations for hotels? I generally like staying in Japanese business style hotels (high speed internet and mini-kitchens are better for me than cool lobbies) but I'm open to whatever.

Is it also possible to stay in Kyoto and commute to Osaka for work easily? My schedule is a bit up in the air, but I wouldn't mind getting some Kyoto sakura in as well.

Any hotel suggestions would be appreciated. Budget is open, but I don't like to spend too much on hotels and have found some great, convenient places in Tokyo for not too much - just don't know Osaka.
