How does one claim that credit if there is a drop in fare for the same class of service on the same flight after one has booked and paid the higher fare? UA has its "lowest fare guarantee," but the LFG does not pertain to this. And for the LFG, which is supposed to refund you the difference between what you paid through united.com and what you could find elsewhere on the internet plus a $50 cert, you must find the lower fare and make your claim that same day.
