Remember that she has to register a card to get Executive Club Dining Miles. You also need to ensure that the restaurant chosen offers BA miles at the time you want to visit.
Its simpler to buy miles but its much more cost effective to buy 15,000 than 1,000 if you are going to use them for say, MFU. But then the RBC card looks attractive.
