Can codeshare partner pull my VIP at check-in?

Here's my situation: I'm flying BRU-MAN-MIA this weekend. The first segment is a codeshare with SN, the second is upgraded using an eVIP.

Here's my question: Will SN be able to apply the VIP at checkin, or will I need to check in again at MAN? Will they even be able to check me in at all for the AA portion?

Another (unrelated) question: SN is not a OneWorld partner, so I'm not clear on the check-in procedure. Since I'm flying on AA flight numbers, and my second segment is in C-class, can I use SN's Business Class check-in counters? Or, since I'm in coach on SN, will I be relegated to their coach check-in lines?

Tried a search, but came up empty.

As always, I appreciate everyone's help and insight. Love this forum!

Thanks!
