I did consider it, and it is a bit cheaper, but, true FTer that I am, I hate spending money on flights without getting something for it ! (Especially when it means flying a low-cost carrier). I'd rather pay a little more and get miles towards UA status etc, E+ seating... and that possible Op-Up !

Watch out though. Many of the cheap UA deals you see out at the moment book into G class which gives nothing, nada, zilch. You have been warned!
