I asked for a letter (not postcard) to be mailed a week ago onboard SIN-MNL. She said with a smile that she would mail it upon return to SIN.

Oops, I wonder if she literally meant that she would mail it?

Come to think of it, she did hesitate a moment when I asked for the stationery...
