Hm, that would be 2 weeks already working out the bugs? I think that unfortunately LAXNRT's experience is going to be (short-term until folk complain) the norm for UGS. He's right - the separate 'room' (not check-in line) was much better for UGS folk.
PS - It's quite irritating that LAX 1/2 the time the kiosks are 'on the fritz'. If they want people to use them the least they could do is make sure they're working...
