There is one particular hole in the wall liquor store in Shibuya here in Tokyo that I visit way to often. The prices there are some of the best I have seen. Unfortunetly I dont get out to Costco often so I havnt seen their prices latly, but I was able to find Johnny Walker Blue for 9,900 yen once, usually 11,000. They had a couple other high end bottles that hit the 4 digit mark in Canada that I have found for probably 50% less.

I have yet to really find a good deal at any duty free shop. Although the odd duty free shop may have a selection that is hard to find. The DFS Galleria in Singapore had advertised 40 year old macallan scotch, but when I got there they didn't have it. Ended up with a 25 year old Ballantines. I forget how much I paid for it allready.
