Yup. If you live in SIN or are visiting and want to drink, it's a good idea to buy up to the limit at duty free when arriving. A 1L bottle of Chivas, for example, costs S$42 at duty free (less if you get the SQ PPS Club discount), vs close to S$100 for .75L in the city.
