Since I go back and forth between HGIs where I get bottled water and other hotels where I don't, I tend just to get more bottled water with the pantry coupon. I've found the price varies. At HGI Garden Grove/Anaheim the bottled water is $1.50 each so I can only get 3 with the $5 coupon. At HGI Nashville Airport the bottled water is $1 each so I got 5.
Have you noticed at some HGIs, they give you the 1/2 pint sized waters as opposed to a full pint of water upon check in? In those instances, I feel like I'm getting gypped (sp?) even though it's free so I end up getting a bottle in those instances.
