I'm sure this endeavour was just a way to pass on knowledge and expertise as a form of aid rather than by just simply donating money. I suppose it's possible in theory that UA could do an IAD-MOW or ORD-MOW in the future, but LH has such an amazing and extensive number of Russian and CIS routes that it's doubtful UA would want to duplicate any of them.
