Hi All,

Thanks for your advise. I am seriously looking at other FFP now. However, I will still remain my long-haul flight on SQ which has better services.

I appreciate all the comments posted here. To get a PPS is always my "dream". Sometimes, it is a bit jealous to see some of my friends in other companies managed to get PPS easily even though they have only travelled 10 times a year (Transpacific), compared to the frequency that I have. With all the mileage I have on SQ, I hardly spend on upgrading to C class. Just compared with UA, from TPE to SFO, it only requires 20K or less. But for HKG to SFO, it requires 35K. Therefore, I only upgrade myself whenever I travel from TPE to SIN (One-way 15K). The leg is worth to spend because it is the longest flight to upgrade with 15K.

Yes. Travelling in Y is a bad experience. But travelling in Y on other airlines is worst. I still think SQ is one of the best airline.

For UA, I am quite surprised that the renown airline has such poor service. I took UA a few times a year especially during high season where SQ1/2 sold out. I could not complain on the UA dosmetic because it is the only choice I have in US.

Actually, I am looking at Cathay Pacific Marco Polo club recently. Having the name of "Best Airlin of the year", I am curious to know how good they are for the long-haul flight. I usually take Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong to Japan wherever DragonAir is not in service. After all, I just refused to pay US$50 to get their FFP. Any comments?

Besides, I proposed to my boss, COO of the company to get me into flying business class. I told him that He mentioned that I have to get some medical certification (in US) in order to prove that I am not fit to travel on Economy with this amount of travels. Any ideas?
