Haven't stayed at either, but have been to both locations. As the previous replies indicate both are very nice properties. The Ritz is in a beautifully developed lakeside residential area, but it is significantly further away from town than Summerlin. The ONLY restaurant choices are at either the Ritz or Hyatt. Either of your choices would be good as long as you don't mind being out of the strip area.
