I was just wondering if any NW FF have had unpleasant surprises when flying with MAS? I have looked at many of their partners websites and it looks like they don't offer miles in many economy classes with the least being with NW. I know this might seem more for a MAS forum but couldn't find one here so I thot of posting in one of their partner's forums.

I had a look at their website and found a MAA-EWR for INR 54,000. Like SQ do most of their buyable fares earn miles? I couldn't find any info under fare rules regarding miles so can I assume that they give miles for that flight. Do they generally state on the website if a particular flight will not earn miles like SQ? Thanks.
