Yes, Sundays (and most other evenings) are pretty busy, 5 or 6 flights taking off more than every hour so it can be pretty hectic. Having said that, if you OLCI and use the Fast Bag Drop you should miss the worst of it. Use the security line round the back if the lines are long...
