The UK needs to join Schengen. Then flights would go to/from the main terminal at MAD T4 and we could kiss the train goodbye. Increasingly UK flights end up being put in the same category as long haul flights at European airports and relegated to the more distant gate areas as a result.

I know there is more to the Schengen issue than logistics but it would make FTers' lives rather easier!
