Sorry if this has already been asked and answered - I did some searching but couldn't turn up any relevant threads.
I'm about to call AA to request an upgrade to J on a flight to Europe this summer. I'm very clear about the copay, but unclear about the award fees. There's currently C0, if I request an upgrade now and it clears just before departure, does the cost suddenly become $350 (copay+fees)?
