There's a Gold's Gym not too far from there. Never used it, though.

When I stayed there some years ago (prior to having any status with Starwood), I managed to pick up a chard of glass on my heel (in the hotel room). Besides giving me a bandage and some antiseptic, they were surprisingly unapologetic about the situation. I had to ask them to vacuum the room, and they were reluctant to do so.

While I realize that things may have changed since then, the experience has kept me away from that property.
