I had a similar incident as UALboy, as soon as I clicked the purchase button, CSR on the phone informed me he could see my reservation. He then proceeded to upgrade me using my SWUs.
Hi, It was purchased on united.com on friday night about 9pm. Just a simple LHR-ORD paid with credit card.
I'm sure that by Monday it will be ok, will phone CS line and ask to upgrade anyway.
