I'm sorry BOH, but I have said it before and I will say it again. If I am on whatever airline, and they have to start bumping people back who were on economy tickets and who took advantage of upgrades, I would presume that they would bump their highest status customers last.
With this change from AC (and my apologies, Airbus320, for not being up to speed!), the policy now seems very fair.
