I have to say that DL ranks pretty high on the "good service, good FA" list, but I have to admit that UA consistently seems less impersonal and "rule-book driven" in their dealings with passengers. You know...a little friendly ad-libbing during a routine announcement. When did you last hear that on DL?

Internationally, the AF crews can get a little overzealous when the pilot leaves that seatbelt light on for two hours straight in smooth air. My young daughter had to use the facilities, so I got up to take her and had several FA's rush to me to tell me how dangerous it was, even though the plane hadn't quivered in at least twenty minutes. Not a lot of sympathy for when a kid has to go!

BA has been consistently good, Swiss(air) used to be good...haven't flown the revamped one yet.
