You can redeem one-way awards on JAL as well (since technically, JL is not a OW member YET)

Very annoying thing is that to cancel a partner award it is the $50 cancellation fee (okay, this is understandable) and then an additional $20 telephone service fee, despite that this reward CANNOT be cancelled on-line. Not very pleased about this as I had to cancel my JL booking earlier today....
