Just a word of advice for those who are bumped into a different routing on their outbound flights... Make sure that the agent protects the RETURN part of your journey, as your failure to fly the original segments may be interpreted by AA computers as a "no show," and thus result in the cancellation of your return segments. This recently happened to me on a PBI-DFW-AUS-ORD-BOS that quickly turned into a PBI-DFW-BOS. Luckily I noticed that my online itinerary read as "unavailable," and a nice lady was able to piece my ticket back together.
