I think what I wrote was technically correct but could have been clearer: you can check in at suncountry.com UP TO 6 hours BEFORE flight (between 24hrs-6hrs prior to departure), vs. NW's 24hours-60 min prior to departure. If you aren't able to check in at least 6 hours prior online, that's a plus for nwa.com.
