RJ's to YZF. With AC's pithy luggage allowance. This borders on hilarious. Just wait till customers end up having to pay $100+ or more to ship their goodies up north....goodies like peanut butter, etc.....
YEG-YLW, YEG-YYJ. All tried countless times before by Zip, Air BC etc etc. All were wiped off the map by 737-200's. Just like YYC-YXX.
YWG-YXU: Was wiped off the map WJ when "low cost" Zip tried it.
YYC-YQQ: Low fare CRJ's. No frequency, no fare premium, so we're revisiting Indy Air's low fare, CRJ program.
Nothing's changed, especially the sorts of negative margins ACE will incur as they subsidize these routes with 26 cent mile CASM over a 380 mile asl. Maybe they'll do better than the -23.7% they reported to their BoD in 1999.
PS Keep those $199 walk up fares to HNL. They are keeping my friends happy, but the beer fridge keeps emptying out.
