They may be short in a temporal sense but those files are WAY too large to Email and are large enough to make distribution otherwise a problem. You need to compress them. Afterdawn is a fabulous place to find tutorials and free tools to get you started with how to shrink the video. IMO you need to shoot for a 2MB maximum on filesize. The trick is balancing resolution and quality to get there.
