The cost of leisure travel is going up quickly. The cost of fuel has really increased the cost of air travel in the last few years. As a result, I have to do some unique things to afford to travel as much as I do.

The first thing I have done is cash those Credit Card Convenience Checks that offer ZERO PERCENT for six to nine months and invest those funds in a high interest bank account and then pay off the account before they start charging interest. Last year I made almost $1000.00 in bank interest using these checks. I paid for a airline trip to Europe on that scheme.

The second thing I did to pay for more leisure travel was sign up at a variety of places that need individuals for MARKET RESEARCH Focus Groups. I made almost $500 attending a number of Market Research Focus Groups last year. That paid for all my hotel expenses in Europe.

The third thing I did to pay for travel expenses was act as a MYSTERY SHOPPER. I visited tons of shops and did reports about customer service. I made about $400 doing that and paid for a long air and hotel package to Florida.
