I have flow Spirit a few times over the last year on the DTW/LGA routes and the flight has been really on time, cabins spacy and more leg space. A much improvement from those days at the now-closed city airport.
Although, i prefer the NW FF program for the benefits, doesn't hurt to fly Spirit as DTW is connected well on their network.
