Burkey, you're right about no credit transfer BA-AA for trans-Atlantic flights. I wasn't thinking of that because AA has excellent Boston-London schedules so I usually pick up BA from London for AAdvantage miles. (I've never even joined the BA program.) That's the only restriction on credit transfer I'm aware of, though.
