You might be able to find a non AA flight to Vieques.
The bio bay was amazing. There was some moonlight, but we were on a pontoon boat, and it was dark if you went under it. We had an interesting splash fight
Very sparkly. We took a tour that included a boat ride from Fajardo to Vieques, dinner, then the bio luminescent tour.
We had a car for a few days, so we drove to Fajardo.
