All the same it is upsetting to transfer in Hong Kong. I would think they could work something out to have direct flights between the two places ("countries or regions" depending on who you talk to). Changing the name is a great idea though just so we don't get the posts on flyertalk where people say they are flying China Airlnes from SFO-PEK or Air China to TPE.
