No, there are no miles awarded for just "booking" a hotel via the bmi web-site.

There was a promotion back in August whereby you got 3k miles for each hotel reservation booked on the web-site, regardless of hotel however this ended in September IIRC .

It was a looooooong process to get the miles though. Luckily Joanna was here at the time !
