This is more than amonth old, but the local paper here in Puerto Rico on Feb 8 said that the FAA didn't sign the license for ATR operations in the airport. It was apparently an 11th minute refusal by FAA officials. Apparently there are two 15-feet-high antennas that need to be relocalized, and a ramp that gives access to the beach that must be fixed. AE tickets are being endorsed over to Cape Air.

I hope this gets fixed soon, as VQS is a very nice destination.
